A day of sweet stuff’s with radness everywhere - our new hostel provided the perfect place to launch exploratory missions into the unknown. Finding our way around the local surf breaks and discovering the joys of the local roads such as “roller coasters drop” provided us the recovery time we needed from our late night partying with our new mate and party host Kevin.

The wind which had been howling all day finally dropped off in the late afternoon. Paddling out at Bingin (our new local break) the surf was small, but peeling left handers rolled over the increasingly exposed reef. Luke - who had already dinged his hire board once - was chasing the barrel so hard that once again he pumped into the section aptly named Greedy’s hoping that the 2 foot wave he was on would triple in size and throw a sweet barrel. He was rewarded with dry reef and removed both of his fins from the bottom of his board in one sweet manoeuvre which is now named “Fazdog’s speed check”.
